🛡️ Lore – The Fall of the Kingdom of Jeremias

Not long ago, a prosperous kingdom thrived under the wise rule of King Jeremias. Its strength and stability came not only from diplomacy and order, but also from a set of ancient relics — powerful artifacts that granted resilience and offensive might to the kingdom and its army.

Yet, the brilliance of these relics reached far beyond the borders — and they soon became objects of desire for those outside the realm.

That was when the wizard João de Santo Cristo struck. With overwhelming magical force and calculated fury, he launched an assault on the royal citadel. In the heat of battle, King Jeremias was struck by five fireballs, while the wizard shouted, "traitorous pig!"
The kingdom fell under his will.

The Citadel, home to much of the king’s people, was left in ruins. Amid the chaos, some survivors fled east, giving rise to the Prairie Camp — a refuge where the last remnants of the kingdom gathered.

During the cataclysm, the king’s relics were scattered throughout the surrounding lands. Now, not only Santo Cristo, but also mercenaries and treasure seekers from distant places pursue them. To protect his prize, the wizard filled the region with monstrous, abyssal creatures, creating a living wall to deter anyone who might reach the relics first. This only served to further trap the survivors within the safety of the camp.

Amid this chaos, a silent knight emerges, his face hidden behind a helmet.
He cuts through the wizard’s beasts with unmatched determination. He does not speak. He does not reveal his origins.

And so the question remains:
Is he a survivor of the Citadel? A warrior seeking vengeance? Or simply another looter, chasing the lost power of the kingdom?

The story is in motion.
And you are part of it.
